This story is about people that are poor living in the dump site area.In this book Trash. There are three boys called Raphael,Gardo and Rat(Jun Jun). They wanted to solve a mystery That is about a bag that they found .In the bag there is a ID about Jose Angelico a wallet with a picture of a girl that is around 8 till 9 yrs old, a key , a newspaper and a map . This bag belongs to Jose Angelico .The items that are in the bag are clues to solve the mystery. Raphael ,Gardo and Rat went to lot of places and met lot of people that know Jose Angelico trying to solve the mystery about Jose Angelico,Gabriel Olondriz and Senator Zapanta. When they solve the mystery and gets some cash , they bought a boat and go fishing to get a better life.
Characters
In the book Trash there are three main characters,Raphael,Rat and Gardo . They lived at the dump site in Behala . This boys everyday collects trash for example plastic, glass and bones.Raphael, Gardo is Fourteen yrs old and Rat is younger than them .Raphael and Gardo had a family and Rat doesn't have a family because Rat is not from Behala .I liked Rat and Raphael because first Rat is respectful , he knows how to take care of himself and he is good at running , if Raphael i liked him because he is smart and have lots of courage to face the police and not saying that he have the bag is a very good thing to do . Without Raphael or Rat they wouldn't complete the mystery or even find out about the mystery because Raphael was the one that found the bag and the wallet and clues inside the bag and Without rat they wouldn't know what is the key for or where is it from.

Climax
The author made this happen so we can see the problem in different perspective it effects the story because we don't always see the same thing over we keep getting different opinions like for example when rat says something then suddenly it changes and says its rat now or its gardo now and that so readers can experienced and learn about the person that is talking. So we could see the different opinions and so the readers dont get so bored and uninterested

what creates suspense
One way that authors create suspense is characters working against the deadline .An example from trash is Raphael, Gardo and rat are trying to solve the mystery of Jose Angelico death before the police catch them. This shows that three boys are risking their lives to solve the mystery of Jose Angelico before they get catch by the police. And the reader doesn't know who is going to win.Another example that creates suspense is Raphael, Gardo and Rat are scared they are going to get caught by the police. This shows that they are scared that the police are going to catch them and kill them .And the reader doesn't know if the police is gonna catch the boys or not.the last example When Gardo and Olivia went to prison and they had limited time to talk to Gabriel Olondriz. this means that they don't have much time to get information. And the readers doesn't know if they will get the info from Gabriel Olondriz or not .
The second way that authors create suspense is conflict . An example from trash is Raphael and his family arguing about the bag .This means that Raphael and his family are in opposite side because of money. The readers doesn't know if Raphael will give the bag to the police or not .the second example is Raphael at the police station with the police. This means that they are in danger because the police maybe will kill Raphael and Gardo. The readers doesn't know if they will get kill or not.third example of conflict is that Marco won’t give them the bible without payment.this means that the boys need to pay first for getting the bible to get the next clue .The readers doesn't know if the boys will get the bible or not .
The third way the author create suspense is using sensory details to create an air of mystery,an example is the feeling of dirts and smells of people haven’t showered. This means the people in the dumpsite .The readers know the details of the boys . The second example is There was no sound at all coming from the rooftop, this creates a sense of “where are they?” and a surprise and mystery moment. This means that there is someone looking for them. The readers doesn't know who is under them this is what makes it have an intense feeling .The third and final example of using sensory details to create an air of mystery is A policeman was smoking near the boys, staring at them suspiciously. Even a woman washing her clothes and two children with a dog also stared slyly. The dog also stopped barking. This means that the police and the dog have a weird feeling about them. The readers doesnt know what is the policemen and the dog going to do.
The fourth way the author create suspense is adding an element of surprise ,an example from trash is when Raphael was being taken away by the police. This means that the readers were shock when Raphael got taken by the police. The second example is When the gardener started talking to them and they thought it was a policemen. The meaning of this is that they were surprise that it was a gardener when they thought he was a police .The third example is The whole place went quiet for a moment. Then, minutes later, noises could be heard and boy, they were loud! This makes for an excellent element of surprise! This means that they were shocked when it was quite to very noisy.

“Is it ok to lie, steal or cheat?”
In the book trash Raphael, Gardo, Rat,Sister Olivia and father Julliard lied a lot one of the the examples of lying We get visitors, you see. It’s mainly foreigners visiting the Mission School which they set up...I always smile and say, “Sometimes, sir! Sometimes, ma’am!’ What I really mean is no, never - because what we mainly find is stupp. (page 4) that means Raphael tells lies to the foreigners to make them feel better about their Mission School and the opportunities it brings the kids another lie is from Raphael “I didn’t’ find a find bag, sir” (page 61) this is a good lie because Raphael didn’t want to tell the police the truth because they wanted to solve the mystery for the memory of Jose Angelico.Another example of a good lie is from Father Julliard Its hard to keep the children attending class: we have to bribe them with food. (page 47)this means Father Julliard is is making the kids attend class by lying to them that they will get food if they do.The last good lie is from Gardo ,Gardo lied to Sister Olivia saying he want to meet his grandfather but going to the police station all of those are good lies because they are lies for urgent situations
Fun raising
Today we raised some money by selling noodles drinks and other yummy stuff the positive about the group is that we work together very well we cooperate with each other, we always help each other and we all bring items for our stall. The things that we still need to improve is not being messy being more organize and have cheaper price so the customer would be satisfied. The things that we did bad is that we are messy and we aren't ready for the customer.
